E3 2008: Sega Prez: No Shenmue 3
Many gamers have been breeding secret hopes of seeing a second Shenmue sequel on next-gen consoles, but it won’t happen. Sega president Simon Jeffery shot down those hopes, stating that there are no plans for Shenmue 3 now. However, to keep our hopes alive, he didn’t say there’s “not a chance.” Right? Rumors of a third game in the franchise came up before E3, noting that the company was bringing the first two games to the Wii.
